This lightweight BMW M3 CS, is said to be the most powerful M3 yet. The M3 CS is 20kg lighter, this is because of the carbon fibre bonnet, splitters, rear diffuser and rear spoiler. It is also fitted with carbon bucket seats, which are standard and a new titanium exhaust which reduces the weight. There is also carbon ceramic brakes, which are optional.

It has an acceleration from 50-75mph in just 2.6sec, with a top speed of 188mph.

This SUV model is very important to Lexus, being the first Lexus RX plug-in hybrid.

The Lexus RX interior is smart, with plenty of boot and back space. Furthermore, it is fitted with a 14.0 inch touchscreen.

Prices start from; £56,315.

Mazda CX-5

The new Mazda CX-5’s will have the same exterior, cabin and chassis, however it will gain mild-hybrid technology.

This SUV is also equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Moreover, like before there are five different trim options, this time made up of entry-level Centre-Line, Newground, Exclusive-Line, Homura and top-spec Takumi.

It is said that, Mazda expects the mid-range Exclusive-Line to be the biggest-selling CX-5 in the UK, which comes with a choice of 163bhp e-Skyactiv G petrol or 148bhp and 181bhp Skyactiv-D diesel powertrains.

The new Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV has a range of 364 miles. It offers a range of power levels with a four-wheel drive.

Mercedes offer a two power levels, both with four-wheel drive. The entry-level models produce 355bhp and 419lb ft, while the EQS 580 4Matic with 536bhp and 632lb ft tops the range. 

The two models benefit from the same 108.4kWh battery, which provides up to a range of 364 miles. 

There are also two specification levels to choose from; starting with AMG Line Premium Plus, which includes a black Nappa leather interior, anthracite wood trim, three-display hyperscreen system, the latest generation of MBUX, wireless phone charging and a head-up display. 

Prices start at £129,170.

The Peugeot e-208 electric version of Peugeot’s popular 208 supermini, will receive a significant range boost this year.

It will gain a 51kWh battery that will provide up to 248 miles on a single charge.

The power of this Peugeot will also increase to 156bhp, with a 0-62mph time of less than 8.0sec.

The new Peugeot e-208 will not look any different to the outgoing model. The cockpit is fitted with a 10-inch central screen, driver’s screen and a small, flat-bottomed steering wheel.

This Porsche 911 Dakar has a rugged off-road design. It is a four-wheel drive with a twin-turbo and an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

This Porsche comes with incredible chassis and bodywork, as well as height-adjustable suspension and reinforced sidewalls.

However, there are no rear seats and carries more weight than it probably should.

The price starts from £173,000, but it has been said that trying to get hold of buying one is very difficult.

It comes with lowered chassis, as well as a more powerful engine.

The Astra GSe has up to 40 miles of pure electric range. It it fitted with a 12.4kWh battery.

The downfall of the Astra is that it carries a hefty 1,703kg of weight.

Also, this Grandland has a CO2 emissions of as low as 29g/km. 

The exterior design of the Grandland GSe hasn’t changed much, only a few tweaks to the front bumper and the alloys.

It is fitted with a dashboard that is dominated by Vauxhall’s dual-screen Pure Panel infotainment set-up, which combines a 10-inch touchscreen with a 12-inch digital instrument panel in the GSe.

The starting price is; £43,700, but comes with standard equipment that includes sat-nav, a wireless smartphone charger, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a 360-degree parking camera and the brand’s IntelliLux Pixel headlights.
