Technology is one of the biggest growths in the world. The car Industry is set to have a busy 2024 with new EV models scheduled to hit the market.

In this article you will see the top 5 EV’s to be released this year.

The Top Electric Vehicles scheduled for this year are;

Citroen e-C3

For the first time the Citroen C3 is going electric. The brand new Citroen e-C3 is similar to the Citroen C3, but it has lost its hatchback.

This budget-friendly Citroen e-C3 has a 44kWh battery pack and has a range of 199 miles. It is said that Citroen will be releasing an even cheaper version with a range of 124 miles, and this car could cost from around £17,500.

This sleek rugged look Citroen e-C3 costs less than £23,000. Citroen plans to have an even cheaper model available next year in 2025.

Citroen e-C3

The most appealing parts of this new EV, is the price and the cool look. This Citroen ticks a lot of boxes like good value for money, the cool sleek appearance it has and the vehicle range.

The exterior of the vehicle has some tough-looking black cladding along with either 16- or 17-inch steel wheels as standard. There higher-spec models have 17-inch alloys. The taillights on the new Citroen e-C3 have a similar C-shaped design to the lamps at the front.

The interior design of this SUV some funky-looking fabric on the dashboard, along with the two-spoke steering wheel, making it look pretty cool.

The entry-level models unfortunately don’t have an infotainment system, however, there is a mount for your phone. Although its a shame it doesn’t have an infotainment, by having the phone mount this allows you to access the radio and use your sat nav through an app. This certainly plays a big part in keeping the cost down. Other models are fitted with a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and all cars have a neat digital driver’s display, which is mounted high-up on the dashboard.

Fiat 600e

The all-electric Fiat 600e IS a small electric SUV which will be replacing the 500X when it goes on sale later this year.

The look is a bit similar to the Fiat 500e. This cute looking Fiat has a range of 250 miles on a single charge.

Fiat 600e

The front of the new Fiat 600e has similar round LED headlights and thin air intakes like the Fiat 500. Although it does have a slightly more muscular appearance than the tiny 500.

The 600e is slightly longer than the 500 and is taller. There is the option available to have up to 18-inch alloy wheels. It is fitted with a neat roof spoiler at the rear, as well as some cool looking tail lights.

On the inside of the new Fiat 600e there’s a 10.25-inch touchscreen on the dashboard, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Furthermore it also has a 7.0-inch digital driver’s display. The two-spoke steering wheel is very similar to the Fiat 500.

The interior design of the Fiat 600e is very smart with plenty of interior storage, including a compartment in the centre console along with a fold-away cover similar to an iPad case.

The new Fiat 600 has a 54kWh battery and will do 250 miles on a single charge. The fiat 600 comes with a 100kW DC fast charging as standard, allowing you to top up from 20-80% in 27 minutes.

UK starting price for the Fiat 600e is around £35,000.

Alfa Romeo Milano

Alfa Romeo Milano is due to be released in April 2024 and will be available with both electric and petrol power when it comes to market. This Alfa Romeo model Milano was named after its Italian home town and is Alfa Romeo’s first pure EV to be made.

This new small SUV will be around the same size as the Jeep Avenger and will probably be around the same selling price . It is expected that for a petrol model the starting price of £24,000 and for an EV, £35,000.

Alfa Romeo Milano

Although we haven’t actually seen the the new Milano due to it been well-covered, it seems to have the slim LED headlights and the Alfra Romeo triangular grille. However, there are some photos on social media showing the Milano uncovered. The Milano seems to look very sporty and aggressive with its lower bumpers. The rear seems to have razor thin LED tail lights and a modest roof spoiler.

Unfortunately the power ranges haven’t been released as of yet. Although it is expected due to the size of the vehicle we are expecting that it will have a 54kWh battery with a 156hp electric motor, and have up to 248 miles of range. As for the petrol model, we are expecting it to have the 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine from cars like the Vauxhall Mokka.

MG Cyberster

The new MG Cyberster is available to buy by the Summer of this year. The prices for this superb convertible start from around £50,000. This all electric convertible sports car has definitely caught the attention of the British sports car fans. As there aren’t many electric convertibles it will for sure be one of the top EV’s to buy this year.

The design of the MG Cyberster size is around the same size as the modern Jaguar F-Type. The Cyberster doors open upwards which everyone loves. It has a sloping bonnet, sleek headlights and muscular wheel arches, which helps this vehicle stand out as a sports car. The rear design of the vehicle has a full-width LED light bar, as well as some arrow-shaped tail lights.

MG Cyberster

The interior design of this sporty looking vehicle is fitted with a bank of three screens and a tall centre console to separate the driver and passenger. There may be some interior changes prior to this vehicle going on the market, even though the look at the moment is great. Due to the new MG Cyberster still being in the development process the details about the motors and batteries are thin on the ground. There is a rumour that the power figures will be around 530hp.

Renault 5

The new Renault 5 EV is due to be released this month. This EV is fitted with a 52kWh battery pack, paired with a front-mounted electric motor. It will have a range of 250 miles. The starting price for this EV may be lower than £20,000 mark.

The Renault 5 is square shaped with sleek headlights and some modern square LED daytime running lights in the lower bumper. The door handles at the rear of the vehicle are still hidden in the doors, however the front doors have a more traditional handles. The rear spoiler is slightly larger than the last design.

The interior design has a free-standing glass infotainment display that displays instrument graphics in your eye-line. The headrests on the front seats have illuminated rings on each side, suggesting they may have some form of built-in speakers.

This new EV will be fitted with a 52kWh battery and a range of 248 miles.
