MOT Training Course, Class 4 & 7
This MOT Training Course will allow you to become a fully qualified MOT tester for cars and vans.
This intensive course, will develop your skills around the MOT testing routine.
Also, you will focus on working safely within the test centre. This is to enhance your professional developments and working relationships within your test centre, as well as pre-test checks & the MOT tests.
The MOT Training Course for class 4 & 7 qualifications consists of, a 4 day course with a multiple choice test and a 2 hour practical exam.
MOT Managers Course
The MOT Managers course in MOT Test Centre Management has been developed in collaboration with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency DVSA to give learners the knowledge and skills required to manage MOT Vehicle Test Centres.
This qualification is primarily developed for learners who wish to run an MOT Vehicle Test Station (VTS), or who will have direct responsibility for MOT operations at the VTS in the future.
During the course, you will achieve a numerous amount of skills and knowledge. Our professionally qualified lecturers will guide you on, how to manage your employees in an efficient manner, and develop their training, so that your staff maintain their professionalism. Our lecturers, will also ensure that you have an understanding of managing the legislative and requirements of a VTS, and this will give you more confidence when you manage your MOT test centre.
Furthermore, you will gain knowledge of how to deal with customer complaints in a professional manner, to insure that your MOT test centre maintains a good reputation. Conclusively, once you have completed the course, you will walk away with a better understanding, more knowledge and confidence to manage your own MOT test centre.
Level 3 VTAA Course
This course is to help technicians without a Level 3 qualification to become qualified and to proceed onto the MOT Training Course. Furthermore, to show that the technician meets the Motor Vehicle Level 3 National Occupational Standards Motor Trade.
The VTAA accreditation enables motor vehicle technicians, who have worked in their roles for four or more years to prove their capabilities at Level 3. This course is a specifically designed accreditation and a lifetime achievement, meaning that once technicians have successfully completed the VTAA, they will be considered equivalent to those who have studied to Level 3 via a qualification route.
Hybrid Training Course, Level 1
The Hybrid Training Course, Level 1, is a 2 day course. This EV Training Course is to raise awareness of Hybrid/Electric Vehicles. If you are an individual who has no experience in the motor industry and you want to gain knowledge of these types of vehicles, then this maybe the course for you.
For this course there is no entrance exam and this course is aimed at any individuals that maybe in contact with these types of vehicles, even if you are office based.
At the end of the course, you will have a multiple choice exam. This Electric Vehicle Training Course will allow you to be more up to speed with these types of vehicles.
Hybrid/EV Level 3 Training Course
The Level 3 Hybrid and Electric Training Course is aimed at mechanics and technicians.
The Hybrid/EV level 3 training course, is designed for technicians to gain skills and knowledge on how to work safely and confidently on hybrid vehicles and understanding the construction and functions of the battery models and related components.
Technicians will be taught the hybrid drive layout and how to carry out the maintenance and repairs on these types of vehicles.
You are required to take an entrance exam before the course.
The level 3 course, is a 4 day course and is 90% practical and 10% theory based and at the end of the course you will be required to take a multiple choice exam.
