Everyone is wondering what new electric vehicles will be on the market in 2023. 

With more and more electric vehicles on the UK roads, more people have taken an interest in purchasing an electric vehicle. 

Manufactures are continuously trying to improve the range of electric vehicles and here you will see the newest vehicles that will be on sale very soon.

Many believe that, 2023, will be the year with the largest amount of new electric cars to be launched.

Here you will be able to see some of the makes and models that will be on the market in 2023 and the details of these electric vehicles. There will be over 43 new models available in 2023.

Cadillac Lyriq

Cadillac Lyriq

The Cadillac Lyriq is the brand’s first electric vehicle, with a range of 300 miles. 

This luxurious EV has door handles that sit flush with the bodywork and pop out  with a touch of a button.

It has a 33in-wide combination of digital instrument display and infotainment screen stretching across the dashboard. Including an augmented-reality head-up display.

This Cadillac is capable of DC rapid-charging at up to 150kW.

However, it is yet to be confirmed whether the Lyriq will be sold in the UK. 

2023 Fisker Ocean

The Fisker Ocean will be available in the UK in the mid-2023. The all-electric Fisker Ocean will start production in November 2022.

This EV sport model has a range of 275 miles and the mid-spec all-wheel drive has a range of 379 miles. Furthermore, the brand’s higher-spec, big-battery Ocean Extreme will have a range of up to 390 miles.

The Fisker Ocean has two different batteries for its two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive cars. The Ocean Sports will use lithium-ion phosphate battery-cell chemistry, and the Ocean Ultra and Ocean Extreme will use battery packs with a nickel-manganese-cobalt cell. 


Fisker Ocean, has a full-length opening roof that also incorporates enough solar panels, this could potentially add up to 2,000 miles of range every year.

It has a 7.1-inch Revolve infotainment screen. It also has a standard over-the-air updates that will keep the infotainment up to date and potentially improve the efficiency, performance and other features.
 

Genesis GV60

There will be three version of the new Genesis GV60.

For the premium model the prices will range from £47,005, with a range of 321 miles.

The all-wheel-drive will range from £53,605 with a range of 292 miles. The sport plus will have a price range of £65,405, with a range of 289 miles.

Genesis GV60 has a feature which Genesis calls Face Connect. This is s a facial recognition system that allows users to unlock the car simply by looking at a sensor. This feature is very similar to the ID systems used on some smartphones. It has an infra-red camera that picks up the user’s face and automatically loads their pre-saved seat and mirror positions, infotainment and head-up display preferences. 

Furthermore, Genesis have added a fingerprint authentication system and a digital key that syncs with the owner’s smartphone. It also has a wireless smartphone charger and a pair of 12.3-inch screens. The one is to handle the infotainment functions and  the other one is to display the gauges. 

GMC Hummer

This American GMC Hummer is believed to be coming to the UK in the near-future.

The GMC Hummer has a battery pack capable of 800V charging at rates of up to 300kW. It will have a range of more than 300 miles,

The Hummer has a roof with removable panels, which essentially turns it into a convertible.

Inside of this spectacular Hummer, it has a 13.4in infotainment touchscreen and a 12.3in digital instrument display. This vehicle also has the option to fold the rear seats flat, it offers up to 2305 litres of boot space. 
 

Hyundai Ioniq 6

Hyundai Ioniq 6

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 is a four-door coupe. It is said that, this new electric vehicle will offer fast charging and a better range, than other rivals.

It currently has an official range of 382 miles and charges up to 80% within around 18 minutes. The Ioniq 6 is very similar to the Ioniq 5, however, the dashboard inside is dominated by two conjoined 12.0in screens. 

It also has an ambient lighting system, which has 4096 possible colour combinations.

Furthermore, on the door mirrors there is an option to put camera ones, which feed an image onto a screen mounted on either side of the dashboard. 
 

Indi EV Indi One

Indi EV Indi One

The Indi One is believed that it come to the UK in the near-future.
 

The base-model One, has a 75kWh battery and an estimated of 230-mile range. The  premium model has a 95kWh pack with 300 miles of range.

The Indi One offers a choice of nine limited-edition exterior colours inspired by the Southern California sun, surf and entertainment culture. The interior of the Indi One is a combination of the colour white and black.
 


Lexus RZ

The Lexus RX is the fifth generation of the premium crossover.

Lotus Eletre

Lotus Eletre

This Lotus Eletre was designed in the UK, but is manufactured in China. It has been said that, China will be the first to market this vehicle.

It has been said that, the Eletre will support a charging at 350 kW. Lotus also claim that in just 20 minutes of charging, it will provide a range of 248 miles.
