You also have to have at least four years full time working experience in the service and repair of the vehicles you want to test, as well as a level 3 qualification. Moreover, you need to ensure that you have no unspent criminal conviction of violence, intimidation or convictions in the MOT testing scheme, Motor Trade, and be of a good repute.

Furthermore, you will focus on working safely within the test centre, enhancing your professional developments and working relationships within your test centre, as well as pre-test checks & the MOT tests.
MOT Managers Course
This MOT Managers Course will give you the knowledge and the skills required to manage an MOT Vehicle Test Centre. Moreover, in the course you will be taught how to deal with customer complaints and customer service problems, how to develop and supervise staff within a test centre, how to manage the legislative and compliance requirements of a VTS and also knowledge of test centre quality systems and audits.

MOT Training Course, Class 4 & 7
The MOT Training Course for class 4 & 7 qualifications consists of, a 4 day course with a multiple choice test and a 2 hour practical exam.
The price for the course available are £695.00.
MOT Managers Course
This is a 4 day course, that consists of an online test that is 1 hour and 15 minutes long, the test has 35 questions that are to be answered within that time. In the test it will cover all the contents of each unit that you have leant in the course. Furthermore, this online test is an externally marked assessment delivered through the ABC online testing platform.
