Have you completed your annual training and assessment yet?
As you may be aware, all MOT Testers are obligated by the DVSA to take annual CPD Training from the 1st April to 31st March and this is to be done yearly.
However, did you know that if your CPD training it is not completed by the 31st December, the DVSA can mark this down as an area that needs to be improved.
All MOT Testers must complete 16 hours in total of CPD Training and 5 assessments over 5 years.

Managers should check the IP addresses every week.
By doing this it is an easy way to make sure your staff are being compliant.
Ensure that you record your checks and if there are any anomalies, you must start an investigation immediately.

MOT CPD TRAINING COURSE
The MOT CPD Training Course consists of 3 hours and one exam.
The DVSA choose 3 topics per year, plus random categories/ questions.
This must be completed within the year (1st April 2022 – 31st March 2023).
